This is a new blog started by John Lubbock, Eric Avebury’s son, to collect resources on human rights subjects written by Eric during his lifetime.

These texts are likely to be useful sources of research material for people investigating and writing about the history of particular intractable political problems. Some of these issues have progressed since Eric worked on them, such as that of East Timor, while others are just as problematic as ever.
